The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DME) will open registration for the TN NEET UG 2023 Mop-Up round today, September 11. Starting at 12:01 PM, the official website will offer the option filling and locking the portal in addition to registration for MBBS/BDS degree programmes. Candidates keen on taking part in the mop-up round can register and fill out their choices on the DME Tamil Nadu’s official website, tnmedicalselection.net. The mop-up round application process is open to candidates with secure rankings between GR 001 and GR 2993. The deadline to register for the TN NEET UG Mop-Up round is September 14.
On September 15, the procedure of allocating seats will take place. Results for seat allocation for the TN NEET UG Mop-Up round will be released on September 16. Between September 17 and September 21, at 5 PM, candidates can obtain the preliminary seat allocation results. Lastly, the deadline for reporting is September 22 at 3 PM at the designated college.
According to the official statement, “Candidates who are participating the online choice filling for MBBS/BDS Degree Courses will have to remit a non-refundable Registration Fee of Rs. 500/- for Government Quota and Rs. 1000/- for Management Quota.”

Step 5: Click on submit after saving and completing the Mop-Up Round application with college preferences.

A security deposit of Rs. 30,000 must be submitted by those choosing government quota seats in state private universities and self-financing medical and dentistry colleges. Candidates from the SC, SCA, and ST groups are excluded from the security deposit requirement if their yearly income is less than Rs 2.5 lakhs. Candidates who had paid the fees in the prior rounds are exempt from doing so this time.
