TS EDCET Counselling 2023: Registration Process for BEd Admission Begins Today – News18

The Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda will begin the registration process for the Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test (TS EDCET) counselling 2023 today, September 20. Candidates who are willing to apply for the TS EDCET web-based counselling to get admission into BEd courses can do so at edcet.tsche.ac.in.

As per the official schedule released by the university, the last date to apply for the TS EDCET counselling 2023 is September 30. The physical verification of special category certificates will be held between September 23 to 29. However, the classes will start on October 30.

TS EDCET Counselling 2023: Documents Needed to Apply

— TS EDCET 2023 Rank Card

— TS EDCET 2023 Hall Ticket

— Provisional Certificate (PC) and Consolidate Memorandum Marks (CMM) qualifying examination.

— Intermediate, diploma, 10+2 certificate or its equivalent

— SSC pass certificate or equivalent for proof of date of birth

— Bonafide (study) certificates from class 9 to graduation

— Residence certificate for the preceding 7 years of the qualifying examination

— Residence certificate obtained from the Tahsildar of either of parents in Telangana for 10 years in case of non-local candidates excluding the period of employment outside the state.

— Residence certificate from MRO either of parents in Telangana for 10 years in case of non-local candidates.

— In respect of non-Local candidates, a Residence Certificate or Employer Certificate is required in order to consider them for allotment under unreserved seats.

— Latest Integrated community certificate issued by the competent authority in case of Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) Reservation

— Transfer Certificate (TC)

— Special category certificates

— Latest Parental Income Certificate issued by M.R.O., Telangana govt after 01.01.2023.

TS EDCET Counselling 2023: Application Fees

As per the official notification, unreserved category candidates seeking admission for the academic year 2023–2024 in the two-year BEd programme are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 800, and Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe category candidates have to pay Rs 500 for the registration and verification process through online mode of payment (Credit Cards/Debit Cards/Internet Banking).
