CPCB Recruitment 2023: Hiring For 74 Consultant Positions Open; Know Last Date – News18

For those who are looking for exciting job opportunities in the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, there’s good news. The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) is hiring. It has invited applicants for recruitment to fill in the posts of 74 consultants across the country. The process of applications began on September 20. These positions fall under the National Clean Air Program (NCAP). Candidates who are willing to apply for these posts can apply till October 10, 2023.

The application process is cost-free. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of CPCB – cpcb.nic.in. The 74 consultant positions are categorised as NCAP Consultants, A, B and C. Initially these appointments will be on the basis of a contract for a year, which may get extended based on CPCB requirements and performance of the candidate. The maximum age limit for all three consultant categories is 65 years. These are the eligibility requirements for candidates applying for the CPCB NCAP consultant positions.

For consultant A

Candidates should have a graduate degree in Environmental Engineering or Technology with good knowledge of MS, or should hold a postgraduate degree in Environmental Engineering or Technology or Science and must have a minimum of three years of work experience in the field of environmental pollution management or control. The total number of positions available for this post is 19.

For consultant B

In addition to the above-mentioned educational qualifications, candidates must have a minimum of five years of relevant work experience. The number of positions available is 52.

For consultancy C

Candidates should have the above-mentioned educational qualifications or a PhD degree in the relevant subjects and have a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience. Vacancy for only three candidates is available for this post.
