Neepa Manocha Cleared UPSC CSE with an AIR 144.

After becoming a CS, she started working at a stock exchange company.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Service Examination is one of the most competitive examinations in the country. Every year, thousands of aspirants appear for one of the most difficult exams after preparing for it for years. But only a few of them can clear it and work as administrators for the government. There have been various success stories where aspirants were average students during their school and college years but worked hard enough to clear the civil service examination. But today, we are going to talk about an achiever who first cleared her company secretary examinations and then became an IPS officer as well.

Similar to all the aspirants, Neepa Manocha’s journey included a lot of hard work, perseverance, and precision. Neepa is a 2015 graduate of the Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi. After that, she did her master’s in economics from the Delhi School of Economics in 2017. After completing her education at one of the most prestigious institutes in the country, she wanted to clear a competitive exam. With backgrounds in finance and economics, she began her preparations for the Company Secretary (CS) Executive and Company Secretary (CS) Professional exams that are conducted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).

Neepa even cleared the exam and became a company secretary (CS). She was also an all-India topper and made her family proud. After becoming a CS, she started working at a stock exchange company. After working there for months, she realised she wanted to do more in her life and wanted to achieve more success. As a result, Neepa decided that she would appear for the civil service exam and become either an IAS or an IPS officer.

Eventually, she started preparing and even took coaching. Gradually, she decided to quit her job at the stock exchange company and keep her full-time focus on UPSC. As CSE is a difficult examination, very few people can clear it in their initial attempts. A similar situation happened with Neepa as well, failing in her first three attempts. But she didn’t lose hope and kept working hard. She learned from her past mistakes and cleared the exam with an AIR 144 on her fourth attempt. In 2022, she became an IPS officer.
