Eastern Railway Invites Application For 3115 Apprentice Posts, Apply Before October 26 – News18

The Railway Recruitment Cell of Eastern Railways (ER) has started inviting online applications for the recruitment to the post of Apprentice from September 27. It has released a total vacancy of 3115 seats for the posts. Interested candidates can register through the official website of Eastern Railways: https://er.indianrailways.gov.in/. The last date to apply for the job is October 26. Through this recruitment drive, Eastern Railways aims to fill 3115 seats of apprentice trainees across different divisions.

Under this, 659 posts will be filled in the Howrah Division, 440 posts in the Sealdah Division, 138 posts in the Malda Division and 412 posts in the Asansol Division. Apart from that, it includes 187 posts in the Kanchrapara Workshop, 612 posts in the Liluah Workshop and 67 posts in the Jamalpur Workshop. The minimum age of the candidate should be above 15 years to become eligible for the recruitment. The maximum age of the applicants should not be more than 24 years as per the notification released by the Indian Railways on its website.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the Railway Recruitment Cell option

Step 3: Access the application form through the notification for the job

Step 4: Fill out the form by submitting the required details.

Step 5: Upload the necessary documents and review the details

Step 6: Pay the required application fee

Step 7: Submit and download the application form.

The application fee for all the candidates is Rs 100. The applicant must have passed class 10 with 50 per cent of the marks. They should also possess a National Trade Certificate for the preferred job. The candidates must read the eligibility criteria carefully before registering for the recruitment drive. The salary for the Apprentice is Rs 30,000.

The registered applicants will be selected based on a merit list. This list will be prepared based on the candidate’s Class 10 marks and other qualifications. The individuals with their names on the list will be selected for the apprentice post in Eastern Railways.
