The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) commenced registration for the Delhi Police Constable recruitment on September 1, with a closing date of September 30. Aspiring candidates interested in these positions can submit their applications via the official SSC website at ssc.nic.in. This recruitment drive aims to fill 7,547 vacancies within the Delhi Police Department. After the initial registration, candidates will have a brief window from October 3 to October 4 to make any necessary corrections to their applications.

Once the registration process is complete, the correction window will be open for the candidates between October 3 and October 4. This window will allow candidates to make changes (if any) to their application forms.

Those who qualify for the online exam will have to appear for a Physical Exam named Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT). The test will be conducted by the Delhi Police across various centres in Delhi.

The selection process for recruitment to the position of SSC Delhi Police Constable has three key stages. These stages include a computer-based examination, a physical efficiency test, and a medical examination. As per the notification released by the commission, the exam is scheduled for December 2023.

Candidates must have completed their 12th-grade education to be eligible for the Delhi Police Constable examination. The candidate should be between 18 to 25 years old. Candidates from reserved categories will be allowed age limit relaxations, as per the established guidelines.

SSC Delhi Police Constable Recruitment 2023: Salary And Application Fees

Selected candidates will be offered a monthly salary ranging from Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100, as per the Pay Level 3 matrix. The online application fee to fill out the form is Rs 100. However, female candidates and the ones who belong to the SC, ST, and Ex-Servicemen categories, are not supposed to make payment while filling out the form.
