Nagaland Board Class 8, 9 Phase 2 Exam 2023 Datesheet Released – News18

The schedule for the phase 2 final examinations for classes 8 and 9 in 2023 has been issued by the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE). According to the Nagaland Board exam timetable released at nbsenl.edu.in, the phase 2 examinations for Class 8 and Class 9 will be held from November 30 to December 8.

The Class 9 morning shift examinations will be held from 9 AM to 10:30 AM. The English test is slated for November 30, and then social sciences, science, mathematics, second language, and sixth subject are scheduled on December 2, 6, and 8 respectively.

Step 3: Review the exam schedules once a PDF file appears on the screen.

Step 4: Download the Class 8 or Class 9 Phase 2 Exam Date Sheet PDF and print it for future reference.

Schools would be responsible for administering internal tests on Nagaland heritage studies (in both English and local dialects/ native languages), life skill education, and general knowledge, according to the Nagaland Board’s official guidelines.

All NBSE-affiliated schools will be required to adhere to the schedule and timings announced. Additionally, by December 18, schools must combine the results of the Class 8 and Class 9 first-phase and second-phase exams and submit them online to the Nagaland Board.

According to the board, all private schools that are registered with the NBSE will also be required to conduct the phase 2 of Class 8 examinations only according to this timetable.

Meanwhile, the NBSE released the results for both classes 10 and 12 on May 24. In Nagaland, the overall pass rate for students in class 10 this year was 70.32 per cent, while the pass rate for those in class 12 was 82.62 per cent. Students from the commerce stream passed with a pass percentage of 85.83 per cent in class 12, while those in the science stream passed with 86.79 per cent.
