As per local media reports, the police headquarters has forwarded a proposal to the Rajasthan government regarding the cancellation of the recruitment exam, and the government is expected to take a final decision on this.
A few days back, SOG ADG Vijay Kumar Singh sent a proposal to cancel the recruitment exam and even mentioned how the exam paper was leaked from the examination centre and reached many people through social media. The proposal reached the government through Director General of Police UR Sahu and a discussion regarding the matter had taken place, local media reported.
Earlier, Rajasthan police’s special operations group (SOG) arrested Ramu Ram Raika, a former member of the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) for allegedly sharing a leaked question paper of the sub-inspector recruitment exam 2021 with his children.
The ADGP of the SOG VK Singh said, “Raika’s children Shobha and Devesh were arrested on Saturday from the Rajasthan Police Training Academy (RPA) along with three other trainee SIs. During the probe, it was found that their father, an ex-RPSC member, got hold of the paper from some sources much before the exam and provided them. We are probing the sources and the payments made to them by Raika.”
