According to the notice issued on September 17, 2024, the NEET MDS 2024 Revised Cut-Off has undergone significant changes.The new qualifying percentile for the General category and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) is now 28.308, a drop from the previous 50 percentile. Similarly, the revised cut-off for SC, ST, and OBC categories, including persons with disabilities (PWD) under these categories, is now 18.308, down from the previous 40 percentile. The UR-PWD category now has a revised cut-off of 23.308, reduced from the earlier 45 percentile.

This reduction in the NEET MDS 2024 Revised Cut-Off is in line with the Dental Council of India (DCI) regulations and aims to address the concern of vacant seats in MDS programs across the country. The official notice mentions that the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has been directed to release the revised results, and the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is expected to take necessary action based on the new cut-offs.
The NEET MDS 2024 examination took place on March 18, 2024, and the initial results were declared on April 3, 2024.
