BENGALURU: The Common Entrance Test (CET) 2025 for admissions to professional courses, including engineering and veterinary sciences, will be held on April 16 and 17, 2025. Applications can be submitted online from January 23 to February 21.
Following allegations of seat blocking in the previous session, new measures are being introduced to enhance security and prevent fraudulent applications this year, said Minister for Higher Education, MC Sudhakar.

Applications must be filled out and verified at multiple stages to ensure authenticity.
Candidates must use their own mobile number to log in, as an OTP will be sent to the number. Only one candidate can register using a single mobile number, and mobile numbers cannot be changed at any stage.
The caste/income certificates and 371(J) RD numbers entered by candidates will automatically fetch reservation details. Student Achievement Tracking System (SATS) numbers will be used to fetch academic records via a web service.
Candidates will be able to download a claims certificate. If marked as “Successfully Verified,” they won’t need to visit any office for document verification. After results are announced, they can download a verification slip.
For those marked as “Claimed Verified,” “Claimed Not Verified,” or “Not Claimed,” candidates must submit the application form along with original and supporting documents to their respective colleges for verification. The college principal will approve the details.
KEA will provide login credentials to all PU colleges in the state for document verification. Candidates need not visit BEO offices.

Candidates applying under NCC, sports, ex-servicemen, CAPF, Scouts & Guides, or Anglo-Indian quotas must submit related certificates in person at KEA on dates to be announced post-exam.
Candidates will receive SMS updates at every stage of the process. It is not required to upload any documents online.
CET 2025 scores will also be considered for admissions to courses such as Yoga and Naturopathy, B-Pharm, Pharm-D, Agricultural Science, and B.Sc. (Nursing). A common application form has been introduced for all courses, including medical, dental, and AYUSH, architecture, BPT, BPO, and B.Sc. Allied Health Science courses. Candidates must register online and pay the application fee.
