TS TET 2024: Candidates from the general category must receive 60 per cent or more to pass the exam. The certificate is valid for lifetime

The Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test or the TS TET 2024 results will be declared tomorrow, February 5, 2025. Candidates who appeared for the exam can access their scorecards online at the official website — tgtet2024.aptonline.in, once released.

The exam was held between January 1 and 20, 2025. Paper 1 was conducted from 9.30 AM to 11:30 AM and paper 2 from 2 PM to 4:30 PM. All questions were Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark, with four options, only one of which was correct. There was no penalty for incorrect answers.

This time, about 2.75 lakh people applied for TG TET. There were two papers. Candidates who want to be teachers for classes 1 to 5 opt for Paper I, and those who want to be teachers for classes 6 to 8, choose Paper II.

The provisional answer key was issued on January 25. Candidates who were not satisfied with the TG TET 2024 provisional answer key could raise objections until January 27, 2025. The final key will be published based on the objections raised by candidates. It will be released along with the TG TET 2024 Results.

Step 1 – Go to the official website of TS TET — tgtet2024.aptonline.in

Step 2 – On the homepage, click on the TS TET 2024 result link, once released

Step 3 – Enter the required credentials

Step 4 – Hit submit

Step 5 – The TS TET 2024 result will appear on the screen

TS TET 2024 Result: Passing Marks

Candidates from the general category must receive 60 per cent or more to pass the TS TET while SC, ST, or differently abled category candidates must score at least 40 per and those from the OBC category must receive at least 50 per cent. Candidates who pass the test will receive a TS TET certificate, which is a necessary prerequisite for teaching positions in Telangana schools.

Previously TS TET certificate was valid for a period of seven years but now it is valid for a lifetime.
