Punjab State Education Board (PSEB) has released the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) 2024 results today, February 19. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check the scorecards by visiting the official website, pstet.pseb.ac.in.
The Punjab TET 2024 exam was conducted on December 1. The exam is taken by candidates to qualify for becoming a teacher for classes 1 to 8 in the state. Punjab State Council of Educational Research and Training released the notification of PSTET on October 16. The answer key was issued a few days after the exam and candidates were allowed to raise objection till December 15.
Punjab PSTET Result 2024: How To Check?
Step 1 – Visit the official website at pstet.pseb.ac.in
Step 2 – Click on the result link
Step 3 – Enter the required details such as the application number and password. Hit submit
Step 4 – The result will appear on the screen
Step 5 – Download and take a print out of the result for further use.
It was divided into two papers. PSTET Paper 1 featured 150 questions of 150 marks. There were a total of five sections. Each section consisted of 30 questions for one mark. The sections are Child Development and Pedagogy, Environmental Studies, Mathematics, Language (Punjabi), and Language (English). The exam was of two hours and 30 minutes.
The PSTET 2024 paper 2 also comprised 150 questions of one mark each. In this also, 30 questions of 30 marks were asked in the Child Development and Pedagogy and Langauge (Punjabi) and Language (English) sections. 60 questions were asked for 60 marks related to the subject. The duration of the paper was 150 minutes or two and a half hours.
To appear in PSTET, applicants must have the minimum qualifications required. They must have passed class 12 or equivalent exam with at least 45 per cent marks. Along with this, one must have done a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) and graduation. The minimum age limit is 18 years. There is no upper age limit.
