GATE 2025: The answer key of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) exam is expected to be released soon by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee. According to media reports, it could be released by Wednesday, February 26, 2025. However, an official confirmation by the IIT is awaited.

GATE 2025 Answer Key: How To Download?
Step 1: Visit the official GATE 2025 website: gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, find and click the link to download the GATE 2025 answer key.
Step 3: A login screen will appear where you will need to enter your credentials.
Step 4: After logging in, the answer key will be displayed for download.
Step 5: Download the answer key, review the answers, and calculate your scores.
GATE was held on February 1, February 2, and February 15, 16. This exam was conducted in two sessions, the first session was from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, and the second session was from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
After the release of the answer key, if any candidate does not agree with it, then he or she can register an objection to it. For this, an objection window will be given, and candidates will be able to challenge the questions by paying the required fee.
GATE 2025 was held in computer-based test (CBT) mode, for three hours. As per the official notification, candidates can choose from 30 subjects and are allowed to apply for a maximum of two test papers. The two chosen papers must be selected from the combinations available on the official website.
Looking at past year cut-off trends, a total of 826,239 candidates registered for the GATE exam last time of 653,292 appeared for it. The cutoff scores were 33.3 for Aerospace Engineering, 27.6 for Computer Science and Information Technology, 25.2 for Chemistry, 25.7 for Electrical Engineering, and 25 for Mathematics.
