Haryana Board HBSE 12th Exam 2025: The Board of School Education, Haryana (HBSE) will begin the Class 12 board exams today, February 27, 2025. The exams will continue until March 29, 2025. All exams will be held in a single shift from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM.
This year, a total of 5,16,787 students will appear for the Class 10 and 12 board exams across Haryana. This includes 2,72,421 boys and 2,44,366 girls. The exams will be conducted at 1,433 centres across the state.
To prevent cheating and ensure fair exams, the board has formed 219 flying squads that will conduct surprise inspections at exam centres. Section 163 has also been enforced around all exam centres to maintain security. Additionally, photocopy shops and coaching centres near exam centres will remain closed during the exams.
To further prevent malpractice, CCTV cameras have been installed in exam halls, and question papers include alphanumeric codes, QR codes, and hidden security features.

Haryana Board Exam 2025: Important Exam-Day Guidelines
Students appearing for the Haryana Board Exam 2025 must follow these important guidelines to ensure a smooth examination process:
- Students must reach the exam centre at least 15 minutes before the exam begins. Late entry is not allowed after 30 minutes of the exam’s start.
- Carrying the Admit Card/Hall Ticket is mandatory. Without it, entry to the examination hall will be denied.
- Students must not laminate their admit cards, as they need to be signed by both the candidate and the supervisor on the exam day.
- Students should bring only a pen, as OMR sheets will be provided in the exam hall.
- Books, notebooks, mobile phones, or any unauthorised materials are strictly banned. Possession of such items may lead to disqualification.
- Students must follow all exam rules and invigilator instructions. Any misconduct can result in disqualification.
- Invigilators may check admit cards and conduct personal searches if required.
- The use of electronic devices like smartwatches, mobile phones, and calculators is strictly prohibited inside the examination centre.
- Students must sign the attendance sheet daily. No student can leave the exam hall in the first 30 minutes or the last 15 minutes of the exam.
