GATE 2025 Result: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee will release the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 result soon on the official website – gate2025.iitr.ac.in. According to the official notification, the GATE 2025 result is scheduled to be declared on March 19, 2025. Once released, candidates can download their GATE 2025 scorecards from the official website using their registered email address or login ID and password.

Steps To Download GATE 2025 Answer Key

Candidates can download their GATE 2025 scorecards following the simple steps given below, once the link is activated.

Step 1: Visit the official GATE 2025 website: gate2025.iitr.ac.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link to download the GATE Result 2025

Step 3: Now enter your login ID and password

Step 4: Enter the given captcha code and submit

Step 5: Your GATE 2025 Result will appear on the screen, download it

Step 6: Check your scorecard carefully and take a printout for future reference

GATE 2025 Cut-Off

The GATE cut-off is announced separately for different categories: General, OBC-NCL/EWS, and SC/ST/PwD. The official GATE 2025 cut-off will be released alongside the results on March 19, 2025. Based on past trends, the GATE 2025 cut-off is expected to rise for most subjects this year.

GATE 2025: Previous Year Cut-Offs

Several subjects in GATE saw significant changes in cut-offs between 2023 and 2024, reflecting shifts in competition, exam difficulty, and demand. Aerospace Engineering (AE) experienced a sharp increase in the cut-off, rising from 25.1 in 2023 to 33.3 in 2024. Similarly, Chemical Engineering (CH) saw a dramatic decrease, with the cut-off dropping from 32.1 in 2023 to 25 in 2024.

Other notable changes include Production and Industrial Engineering (PI), which saw a significant decline in cut-off from 44.2 to 30.5. On the other hand, Humanities and Social Sciences (Economics) (XH-C1) experienced a sharp decrease in the cut-off, falling from 47.3 to 37, reflecting a decrease in candidate interest or a change in exam difficulty.
