The West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) has released the tentative schedule for the West Bengal National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 counselling stray vacancy round. According to the schedule, online registration will begin on March 10, 2025, and conclude on March 11, 2025. The list of successfully verified candidates and the seat matrix for the online stray vacancy round will be released on March 13, 2025.

Publication of list successfully verified candidates and publication seat matrix for online stray vacancy round March 13, 2025
Online choice filling and choice locking by the verified candidates in list March 13 to March 16, 2025
Publication of the allotment result online stray vacancy round March 18, 2025
The reporting and admission of allotted candidates to the allotted institute with requisite original documents, college requite fee, bond after physical document verification March 19 to March 20, 2025

West Bengal NEET PG Counselling stray vacancy round: Eligibility criteria

The following candidates are eligible to register for the stray vacancy round:

  • Candidates who are ‘Not Holding/joined’ any seat in the previous rounds of NEET-PG Counselling, 2024 of All India Quota/State Quota/ Deemed University.
  • Candidates having a percentile score of 5% and above (for all categories)

The following candidates are not eligible to register for the stray vacancy round:

  • A candidate already allotted & joined a seat in AIQ/State Counselling/ Deemed University.
  • A candidate who had been allotted a seat by MCC in AIQ Round-3 & Stray Vacancy Round earlier but did not join the allotted seat.
