The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the exam schedule for the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) Session 2. Aspiring candidates can access the detailed schedule on the official website of JEE Main at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The JEE Main 2025 Session 2 examination for Paper I (B.E/B.Tech) will be conducted from April 2 to 8, 2025. Subsequently, Paper 2A (B.Arch), Paper 2B (B.Planning), and Paper 2A and 2B (B.Arch and B.Planning) are scheduled for April 9, 2025.

The JEE Main examination will be conducted in 13 languages, including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. Paper 1 will consist of 75 questions, totaling 300 marks. The exam format includes 60 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in Section A and 15 numerical answer-based questions in Section B. The three-hour exam will be administered online as a computer-based test (CBT).
In the session 1 exa, a total of 14 candidates secured 100 percentile of which five candidates are from Rajasthan, two each from Uttar Pradesh and Delhi, and one each from Karnataka, Maharashtra, Telangana, Gujarat, and Andhra Pradesh.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will publish the list of toppers for the JEE Main exam after the announcement of the session 2 results. The topper list will be compiled based on the combined scores of both session 1 and 2 for all candidates. JEE Main toppers are selected based on NTA scores, also known as normalized marks. Candidates who successfully clear the JEE Main exam will be eligible to participate in the joint seat allocation process conducted by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) and the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB).
