The Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the results of the Air Force Common Ability Test or AFCAT 01/2025. Candidates who took the exam can now access their scorecards by visiting the official website at afcat.cdac.in. Candidates will need their registration number and password to download the results online.
The AFCAT 2025 exam was conducted on February 22 and 23, 2025 for a duration of two hours. A total of 336 vacancies will be filled through the recruitment drive. This includes 189 Ground Duty (Technical) vacancies and 117 Ground Duty (Non-Technical) vacancies.

Step 1: Navigate to the official website of the AFCAT 2025 – afcat.cdac.in/AFCAT/
Step 2: Click on the result link. Enter the required credentials
Step 3: Login and check the marks obtained.
Step 4: Take the printout of your mark sheet.
AFCAT Result 2025: Marking Scheme
The AFCAT 01/2025 exam comprised 100 questions, totaling 300 marks, and covered General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability, Reasoning, and Military Aptitude. Apart from the 120-minute exam, Ground Duty Technical Branch candidates must also take the 45-minute Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT). This test comprises 50 questions, worth 150 marks, and covers Mechanical, Computer Science, and Electrical and Electronics subjects. For each correct answer, candidates will get three marks. While for each incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted.
AFCAT Result 2025: What’s Next?
Candidates who have successfully cleared the AFCAT 2025 exam will proceed to the AFSB interview round. This stage involves a comprehensive assessment of candidates’ communication skills, leadership qualities, and overall personality. Those who clear the interview will then undergo medical examinations before being selected for training at the prestigious Air Force Academy.
To be eligible for AFCAT 2025, candidates should be between 20-24 years, while for the Ground Duty (Technical/Non-Technical), it should be between 20-26 years. Furthermore, age relaxation applies as per AFCAT recruitment rules.
Selected candidates will receive a fixed monthly stipend of Rs 56,100 during their training period following which they can expect a monthly salary of Rs 85,372. Officers commissioned in the Ground Duty (Technical Branch) will earn around Rs 74,872 per month, while those in the Ground Duty (Non-Technical Branch) will have a monthly salary of Rs 71,872.
