IIT JAM Results 2025: IIT Delhi has declared the IIT JAM 2025 results. Candidates can now check their scores on the official website, jam2025.iitd.ac.in. According to the official notice, the JAM 2025 scorecards will be available for download from March 24 to July 31.

As per the marking scheme, in Section-A (MCQ), incorrect answers will receive negative marks. One-third of marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer to one-mark questions, and two-thirds of marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer to two-mark questions. In Section B (MSQ), there is no negative or partial marking. Section-C (NAT) also does not have negative markings.

The IIT JAM examination was conducted on February 2, 2025. The three-hour exam was held in English medium and consisted of 60 questions totaling 100 marks. Divided into three compulsory sections – A, B, and C – the exam covered seven subjects: Mathematics (MA), Biotechnology (BT), Economics (EN), Chemistry (CY), Geology (GG), Mathematical Statistics (MS), and Physics (PH).

IIT JAM 2025 Results: Admission Process

The application window for admission will be open from March 26 to April 9, 2025. The First Admission List will be released on May 26, 2025, with the seat booking deadline set for May 30, 2025. Following that, the Second Admission List will be published on June 8, 2025, and candidates must book their seats by June 11, 2025. The Third Admission List will be available on June 30, 2025, with the seat booking deadline on July 3, 2025. The withdrawal option will be open from June 7 to July 7, 2025.

Furthermore, at the time of admission, all admitted candidates may have to submit a Physical Fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner in the prescribed form to the admitting institute.
