One of the top business schools in India, XLRI, has completed the final recruitment process for its graduating class of 2023-25 across its two-year PGDM (BM) and PGDM (HRM) programs. 591 students participated, with 172 recruiting entities offering over 600 domestic and 2 international offers. Notably, pre-placement offers were extended to 34.17% of the cohort.
“We are thrilled to see our students excel in the placement process, securing impressive offers from leading organisations across diverse sectors. This achievement reflects the rigorous academic curriculum, industry-relevant training, and the unwavering dedication of our faculty and staff in preparing our students for successful careers,” XLRI Director Fr. S George said while congratulating the students on their achievements.
Top-tier companies across industries participated in this recruitment process, as per a press statement by XLRI. Consulting remained a dominant sector, with firms like BCG, Bain & Company, McKinsey and Accenture Strategy making key offers. The BFSI sector saw participation from Goldman Sachs, Citi, Barclays and Kotak Mahindra Bank, offering roles in investment banking, asset management, and fintech. In FMCG and manufacturing, industry giants like Hindustan Unilever, ITC, P&G, and Tata Steel took part. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Flipkart and Meesho actively recruited for the technology and e-commerce sectors, the institute said.
The median salary offered to the batch stood at INR 29 lakhs per annum, with the top 10th and 25th percentile averages being INR 52.03 lakhs and INR 44.35 lakhs per annum, respectively. The average salary offered to the batch stood at INR 31.08 lakhs per annum, with the highest international offer standing at INR 1.10 Crores and the highest domestic offer of INR 75 lakhs per annum.
