The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute has officially released the CFA Level 1 result for the February 2025 session today, April 3. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check and download their scorecards using their registered email ID and password through the official website, cfainstitute.org.
This year, the overall pass percentage stands at 45%, with 19,848 candidates having appeared for the exam globally. The exam was conducted from February 17 to 23 across 482 proctored centres in 390 cities across 109 markets worldwide.

Candidates can follow the steps as given here to access their result:
Step 1. Visit the official CFA Institute website, cfainstitute.org.
Step 2. Click on the link for signing in to your account.
Step 3. Enter your credentials as required by the portal.
Step 4. View your result and download the scorecard.
Step 5. Save a copy of the scorecard for future reference.

CFA level 1 result 2025: Pass rate and performance analysis
It has been noted that the 45% pass rate is notably higher than the 10-year average of 40%. Additionally:
- First-time candidates achieved a 52% pass rate,
- Candidates with one or more deferrals had a lower pass rate of 30%.
The institute emphasised that remaining on schedule positively impacts performance.
CFA level 1 result 2025: Enhanced score report introduced
Starting from the February 2025 exams, the CFA Institute has introduced an enhanced score report. This includes a scale score, allowing candidates to see how their performance compares with the Minimum Passing Score (MPS) set by the Board of Governors.

Candidates who have successfully cleared the CFA Level 1 February 2025 exam are now eligible to register for the CFA Level 2 exam, scheduled for August 2025. The registration process is currently open on the CFA Institute’s website. Meanwhile, the CFA Level 3 result is expected to be announced on April 22, 2025.
