The JAM-2025 admission portal for various master’s programs across 22 IITs will be open from March 26 to April 9, 2025. Eligible candidates, based on their category and performance in the JAM 2025 admission test, can apply through the JOAPS portal at joaps.iitd.ac.in.
All qualified candidates have received their scorecards via the JOAPS portal using their existing credentials. Admissions will take place in four rounds, allowing candidates to select programs and institutes based on their qualifying test papers. IIT Delhi, the organising institute, successfully conducted the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2025 on February 2, 2025.
As per the official notification, qualified candidates will be able to download their JAM 2025 scorecards between March 24 and July 31. The scorecard will also include the all-India rank obtained by the candidate.
Over 66,000 students applied for JAM 2025, with more than 83% appearing for the exam. More than 30% of candidates, totaling over 16,600 individuals, qualified across all categories.
The examination facilitates admission to MSc, M.Sc. (Tech.), MS (Research), MSc-M. Tech dual degree, and Joint MSc-PhD programs at 22 IITs and 31 result-sharing institutes, including IISc, IISER, IIPR, and CCMN.
A total of 5,300 students will be admitted to 105 different programs. The exam was conducted in seven science subjects: physics, chemistry, geology, mathematics, biotechnology, economics, and mathematical statistics. For comprehensive details, candidates can visit https://jam2025.iitd.ac.in/.
The first admission list for the IIT JAM 2025 will be released on May 26. The qualified candidates in this list must pay the seat booking fee online by May 30. The withdrawal option will be available from June 7 to July 7, 2025. A maximum of four rounds of admission will be conducted to fill the available seats.
