The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB has announced the results for Class 12 or 2nd PUC exam 2025 at a press conference today, April 8. Students who appeared for the board exams will be able to access their scores on the official portal at karresults.nic.in or kseab.karnataka.gov.in by 1:30 pm. The exams were held from March 1 to 20 for over 7 lakh candidates.

Students must score at least 33 per cent to pass the Karnataka 2nd PUC exam 2025. The online results will be provisional in nature. Candidates are required to collect their physical mark sheets from their respective schools. The mark sheets will be available in the schools within a few days and those will be considered as official mark sheets.
Karnataka 2nd PUC Result 2025: Students To Get Two More Opportunities
KSEAB conducts PUC II exams thrice. The goal is to allow students to improve their overall performance in the examination, after which the best scores from the three examinations will be considered for results. The board introduced a remedial system last year that allowed students to retain their best scores from the first, second, and third examinations, referring to it as a ‘student unfriendly mechanism.’
Karnataka 2nd PUC Result 2025: What Happened Last Year?
A total of 81.15 per cent of the students who took the PUC II exams last year cleared it while the pass percentage in 2023 stood at 74.67 per cent. About 6,98,000 students appeared for the exam in 2024. Out of the total, 5,52,690 students passed. Out of the 3,59,612 female students who took the exam, 3,05,212 passed. The pass percentage among girls last year was 84.87 per cent. Out of the 3,21,467 male students who took the exams, 2,47,478 qualified. The pass percentage among boys is 76.98 per cent. While 2,49,927 students passed in the science stream in PUC II exam, 1,28,448 students passed in the arts stream. Further, 1,74,315 students have passed in the commerce stream.
