JEE Mains Results 2025: The NTA is expected to release the scorecards of the second session exam by April-end or May beginning. However, an exact date is yet to be announced by the agency.

JEE Mains Results: The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the second session of JEE Main 2025 from April 2 to 8. While the session 1 exam was held from January 22 to 29 and the results were declared on February 11. The NTA is expected to release the scorecards of the second session exam by April-end or May beginning. However, an exact date is yet to be announced by the agency. Along with the session 2 results, the NTA will announce the list of toppers from both the sessions.
The JEE Main Result 2025 will be released soon by NTA on its official websites:
– nta.ac.in, and
– jeemain.nta.ac.in.
JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Result: Tie-Breaker Rules
In the event of a tie between candidates with the same total NTA score, the following criteria will be used to resolve it, in order:
1. Higher NTA score in Mathematics
2. Higher NTA score in Physics
3. Higher NTA score in Chemistry
4. Lower ratio of attempted incorrect answers to correct answers across all subjects in the test
5. Lower ratio of attempted incorrect answers to correct answers in Mathematics
6. Lower ratio of attempted incorrect answers to correct answers in Physics
7. Lower ratio of attempted incorrect answers to correct answers in Chemistry
8. If a tie still persists, candidates will be awarded the same rank.
JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Result: How To Check?
Step 1: Visit the official website — jeemain.nta.ac.in.
Step 2: Click on the ‘JEE Main 2025 session 2 result’ link on the homepage.
Step 3: Log in with the required credentials. Submit.
Step 4: The result will appear on the screen.
The JEE (Main) – 2025 was conducted mainly in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. For B.E./B.Tech. (Paper 1), the entire exam was in CBT mode. For B.Arch. (Paper 2A), the Mathematics and Aptitude sections were in CBT mode, while the Drawing test was in Pen and Paper (offline) mode. Similarly, for B.Planning (Paper 2B), all sections were in CBT mode.
The exam cut-off will determine eligibility for JEE Advanced registration and admission to institutions like IITs, NITs, IIEST, IIITs, and other GFTIs. The JEE Main cutoff includes two categories — the qualifying cutoff, issued by the NTA, and the admission cutoff, released by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) on behalf of participating institutes.
