CSIR UGC NET Answer Key: The National Testing Agency (NTA) today released the final answer key for the CSIR UGC NET 2024 December session. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now access the answer key, recorded responses, and question papers on the official website: csirnet.nta.ac.in.

Two questions have been dropped from CSIR NET exam and the NTA has informed that marks will be awarded to candidates who attempted the question.

The NTA CSIR NET provisional answer key was released last month and the exam was held in December.

View the answer key displayed on the screen.

Download and save it for future reference.

The result is based on the final key. According to the CSIR NET exam pattern, Part A questions are of two marks each, Part B questions are three marks each, and Part C questions carry 4.75 marks each. There is a 25 per cent negative marking for incorrect answers in Parts A and B, however, there is no negative marking applies to Part C.

CSIR NET was conducted on February 28, March 1, and March 2, 2025. The exam was held in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode at 326 centres across 164 cities. As per reports, 2,38,451 candidates appeared for the exam.

The Joint CSIR-UGC NET is an examination conducted to assess the eligibility of a candidate (Indian) for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), the role of Assistant Professor, and admission to Ph.D. programs in Indian universities and colleges, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria set by the UGC.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been assigned the responsibility by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) to conduct the Joint CSIR-UGC NET December 2024 Examination in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.
