CBSE 10th, 12th Results 2025: Last year, the CBSE Class 10 board result showed a pass rate of 93.60 per cent, while the CBSE Class 12 board result 2024 witnessed a pass percentage of 87.98 per cent

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to announce the results of Class 10 and 12 exams 2025 soon. Looking at past year trends, the results could be out mid-May. To access the mark sheet, students need to provide login details including their roll number, school number and date of birth.
The students who appeared for the exams can check their marks on the official website, results.cbse.nic.in. Some other websites to keep an eye on include cbse.nic.in, cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in and digilocker.gov.in. CBSE is expected announce the final date of the results for Class 10 and Class 12 on their official social media handles soon. Last time, the results were released on May 13, 2024.
Last year, the CBSE Class 10 board result showed a pass rate of 93.60 per cent, while the CBSE Class 12 board result 2024 witnessed a pass percentage of 87.98 per cent. Girls outperformed boys in the CBSE Class 10 pass percentage by 2.04 per cent as well as in the CBSE Class 12 by 6.40 per cent.
CBSE Class 10: Previous Year Pass Percentages
– The pass percentage was 93.60 per cent in 2024.
– In 2023, the pass percentage was 93.12 per cent.
– In 2022, the overall pass percentage was 94.40 per cent.
– In 2021, a total of 99.04 per cent was achieved by students.
– During the pandemic (2020), the pass percentage was 91.46 per cent.
– In 2019, the overall pass percentage was 92.45 per cent.
CBSE Class 12: Previous Year Pass Percentages
– The overall pass percentage in 2024 stood at 87.98 per cent.
– In 2023, Arts, Science, and Commerce students secured an overall pass percentage of 87.33 per cent.
– In 2022, the pass percentage was 92.71 per cent and in 2021, it was 99.37 per cent.
– Then in 2020, the overall pass percentage was 88.78 per cent, while in 2019, it was 83.4 per cent.
To successfully pass the CBSE exam, students need to achieve a minimum of 33 per cent in all subjects. Details such as the name of the student, exam details, parents’ name, school name, date of birth, city and state, education board name, subject-wise marks, division, total marks, and status (pass/fail) will be mentioned on the scorecard.
