The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination December 2024 final answer key on the official website at csirnet.nta.ac.in. CSIR UGC NET Answer Key December 2024: Marking Scheme
Candidates can estimate their scores by referring to the final key and the marking scheme. According to the CSIR NET exam pattern, Part A questions are worth two marks each, Part B questions are worth three marks each, and Part C questions carry 4.75 marks each. There is a 25 per cent negative marking for incorrect answers in Parts A and B, while no negative marking applies to Part C.
CSIR UGC NET Answer Key December 2024: Passing Marks
For the Computer-Based Test (CBT), a minimum of 33 per cent is needed for General, EWS, and OBC candidates to qualify for both fellowship and lectureship. On the other hand, PwD, SC, and ST categories must secure at least 25 per cent of the minimum percentage to be eligible for both JRF and Assistant Professor and Lectureship positions.
The Joint CSIR UGC-NET is conducted two times every year for individuals aspiring to secure positions such as Junior Research Fellowships (JRF), Assistant Professorships, and for those seeking admission to PhD programmes, in accordance with the eligibility criteria established by the commission.
