Three students from Maharashtra have featured in the list of top 24 candidates who have scored 100 percentile in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) – Main exam, the results of which was declared on Saturday.
Vishad Jain, a resident of Mumbai’s Kandivali area, was preparing for the JEE Main exam at Narayana School. As opposed to the prevailing practice of starting JEE preparation in Class 8, Vishad had an early start to his journey towards JEE, thanks to the interest he showed in science and mathematics as a young kid.
His mother Rashmi Jain said, “We admitted him to Narayana School in Borivali in Class 4 as it is known for its science and mathematics.” It was here that Vishad was exposed to events such as Olympiads, Homi Bhabha exam among others which eventually led him to make more targeted efforts for JEE.
Vishad has also been selected for the orientation-cum-selection camp for the International Physic Olympiad, which he is likely going to have to miss as it is very close to the day when the JEE advanced exam will be held.
Sanidhya Saraf, who is also originally from Pune but shifted to Mumbai to study at Narayana E-Techno residential coaching facility, is also among the three students who scored a 100 percentile in the JEE Main exam and says the key is to solve as many previous question papers as possible. “I will wait and consider all options before making a choice,” said Sanidhya who was part of India’s team for the International Olympiad for Astronomy and Astrophysics in 2024.
Aayush Ravi Chaudhari from Pune called it a delightful surprise to have scored a 100 percentile in the JEE Main exam. Aiming for IIT Bombay, he is now focused on preparing for JEE Advanced, the entrance test for IIT. “Computer Science Engineering at IIT Bombay is very attractive, but at the same time, I also have an interest in aerospace engineering,” said Aayush.
Inspired by his older brother, an IIT Kanpur graduate, Aayush’s love for physics and math drew him to the JEE path. He prepared at Bakliwal Tutorials and studied for board exams independently. Aayush believes staying away from social media and undivided focus are the keys to success in competitive exams.
