MET 2025 Phase 1 results: The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) has officially declared the results for the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) 2025 Phase 1. Candidates who appeared for the entrance exam can now access their scorecards through the official website — manipal.edu — using their login credentials.
The MET 2025 Phase 1 examination was conducted on April 18 and 19 in computer-based mode for admission to undergraduate BTech programmes. Students who have qualified will be eligible to participate in the next stage of the admission process, which includes counselling and seat allotment.
MET 2025 exam pattern and marking scheme
The MET 2025 exam was held for a duration of 2 hours. The paper comprised a combination of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions, with a total weightage of 240 marks.
The question paper was divided into four sections — Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English. The Mathematics section included 15 MCQs and 5 NAT questions. The Physics section had 10 MCQs and 5 NAT questions, while the Chemistry section also featured 10 MCQs and 5 NAT questions. The English section included 10 MCQs and no NAT questions.
As per the official marking scheme, candidates were awarded 4 marks for every correct answer. For each incorrect response in MCQs, 1 mark was deducted. However, there was no negative marking for NAT questions.
