ED Raids Multiple Locations Linked To FIITJEE Over Money Laundering Suspicions – News18

The Enforcement Directorate raided over 10 FIITJEE locations in Delhi-NCR including founder DK Goyal’s residence.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday conducted searches at over 10 locations connected to coaching institute FIITJEE across Delhi, Noida, and Gurugram. The raids were also conducted at the residence of FIITJEE’s founder DK Goyal.

The crackdown comes amid allegations that FIITJEE made unlawful gains of Rs 12 crore through the abrupt shutdown of several of its centers. The ED suspects possible money laundering in connection with the alleged profits.

Searches are currently underway as part of the ongoing investigation.

The coaching giant FIITJEE has been under the scanner since January 2025, following the abrupt closure of multiple centres in Ghaziabad, Noida, and Greater Noida—a move that left hundreds of students in limbo just weeks ahead of crucial exams.

In response, authorities registered criminal cases against FIITJEE centre owner Dinesh Goyal and eight others, citing allegations of financial misconduct, criminal breach of trust, and criminal conspiracy.

On January 25, FIITJEE acknowledged the closure of several centres across Delhi-NCR, attributing the shutdowns to alleged “mismanagement and desertion” by its managing partners. The institute also hinted at a corporate sabotage angle, announcing its intention to pursue legal action against rival institutes for poaching faculty members.

The controversy deepened in February, when Noida Police froze over 300 bank accounts linked to FIITJEE and seized Rs 60 lakh in cash, intensifying the scrutiny around the institute’s financial practices.
