WBCHSE Class 12th Result 2025 Date, Time: The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has announced the date and time for WB Board Higher Secondary exam results 2025. According to an official notice released today, the WB Board will announce the WBCHSE Class 12 board results on May 7, 2025. Once the result is declared, students will be able to check their scores and download online marks statement available on the official website at wbchse.wb.gov.in and wbresults.nic.in using their roll numbers and date of birth.
This year, the results will also be available at indianexpress.com and can be accessed by registering for free. The class 12 marksheet mentions the marks scored by students in different subjects. Students must note that the scorecard will be provisional. Hence, the students need to collect the original marksheets from their respective schools.

The WB Board results were announced on May 8 at wbresults.nic.in. There were 7,55,324 regular candidates who appeared in WBCHSE board examinations. East Medinipur topped among all the districts and emerged as the best performing district of the state in the results. The overall pass percentage last year was 90 per cent for all the streams combined. Abhik Das from Hooghly secured the top position with an outstanding score of 99.2 per cent. In 2023, the West Bengal state board results were announced on May 24. The WB HS results were declared in record 57 days, as claimed by WBCHSE officials. The pass percentage was 89.25%. The online scorecard will mention the student’s name, roll number, date of birth along with marks secured in various subjects, among other details.
West Bengal HS 12th Result 2025 Date, Time: How did students perform last year?
With over 5.09 lakh candidates who appeared for the higher secondary examinations, a majority of them were girls. Last year, 7.9 lakh candidates took the Class 12 examinations. The board exams were scheduled from March 3-18, and were held at 2,089 exam centres across the state. The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education exam began at 10 am and concluded at 1:15 pm.
The window for re-evaluation will be opening soon for students to get their answer scripts rechecked in case of any discrepancies. Students with compartment in subjects can appear for supplementary examinations; the date and schedule will be announced later.
