This year, a total of 14,28,175 candidates registered for the board examinations across GSEB SSC and HSC (Science and General streams). Of these, 8,92,882 students registered for Class 10, 4,23,909 for the Class 12 General stream, and 1,11,384 for the Science stream. Furthermore, 1,37,799 candidates registered for GUJCET.

 The original hard copies of the marksheets will be provided by the board to the schools after a few days. To collect the Gujarat board HSC Class 12 science stream original mark sheets, students need to visit their respective schools after a few days.

This year, the GSEB board Class 12 exams for the science stream were conducted between February 27 and March 10. The practical exams for Class 12 science stream were held on February 6, 2025

To pass the Gujarat Board Class 12 Science exam, students need to secure a minimum of 33 per cent marks in each subject and an aggregate of 33 per cent overall. Also, they must obtain a minimum grade of ‘D’ in all subjects.

The  Gujarat board Class 12 Science stream exams last year were held between March 11 and March 22, and the board declared the Class 12 result for all streams on May 9.

The overall pass percentage last year of the science stream was 82.45 per cent. The pass percentage last year saw a big increase from 2023. In 2023 the overall pass percentage in science stream was 65.58 per cent.

In 2024, a total of 1,31,849 students had registered for the Gujarat board Class 12 science stream exam. Out of the total registered students 1,30,650 appeared for the exam, and 91,625 cleared the exam. The boys had performed slightly better than girls in the Science stream. The girls scored an overall pass percentage of 82.35 per cent, while boys scored 83.53 per cent.
