How to check HSC Class 12 result at the official websites
Candidates who have appeared for the HSC Class 12 examination have until May 20 to apply for verification of marks and re-evaluation.
The Maharashtra State Board has released the HSC (Class 12) results for 2025, with detailed statistics across streams, divisions, and gender.

The HSC exams covered 154 subjects, out of which 37 subjects recorded a 100% pass rate.
In the Maharashtra HSC 2025 results, students were categorized based on their performance across different percentage brackets. A total of 1,49,932 students scored 75% and above, while 4,07,438 students secured marks between 60% and 74.99%. The majority, 5,80,902 candidates, fell in the 45% to 59.99% range, and 1,64,601 students passed with scores between 35% and 44.99%. Notably, around 4,500 students scored above 90%, although no student achieved a perfect 100%, according to the Pallavi Smart Express report.
Out of 10,496 colleges affiliated with the board, 1,929 colleges reported a 100% pass rate, showcasing outstanding performance. On the other hand, 38 colleges recorded a 0% pass percentage, raising concerns about academic support and infrastructure in those institutions.

To verify the results, students must visit any of the official websites and input their roll number and mother’s first name as they appear on their Hall Ticket. Once submitted, the individual scorecard will be displayed on the screen. Students are urged to download and print the provisional mark sheet for future reference. The authentic mark sheets will be distributed by the individual colleges in the following days.
The Class 12 board exams were held between February 11 and March 18, 2025.Over 14 lakh students had registered for the exam in a variety of subjects, including science, commerce, and arts.
For students who are dissatisfied with their marks, the board will soon open the window for re-evaluation applications. Details regarding the re-evaluation process, including application dates and fee structure, will be available on the board’s website. Additionally, students who did not pass will be eligible to appear for the supplementary exams. The timetable and other related information for these exams will also be released shortly.
Students are encouraged to stay calm while checking their results, as server issues may occur due to heavy traffic. In such cases, they should try again after a short interval. For the latest updates regarding the SSC (Class 10) results, which are expected later this month, students should keep checking the official websites.

In 2024, the Maharashtra State Board recorded an overall pass percentage of 93.37% for the Class 12 (HSC) examinations, reflecting a notable improvement from the previous year. A total of 14,23,923 students appeared for the exam, out of which 13,29,684 students successfully cleared it. Girls outshine boys with a pass percentage of 95.44%, while the pass percentage for boys stood at 91.60%, continuing the trend of female students performing better across most streams.
Among the nine divisions, Konkan performed the best, with a pass rate of 97.91%, while Mumbai had the lowest at 91.95%. In terms of stream performance, Science had the greatest pass rate (97.82%), followed by Commerce (92.18%) and Arts (85.88%). The Vocational stream had a pass rate of 87.75%, while the ITI category had 87.69%. These 2024 statistics provide a comparable standard for students and educators as they evaluate this year’s outcomes.
