CBSE 10th Results 2025: Trivandrum and Vijayawada topped with 99.79% pass rates. Foreign schools had a 98.57% pass rate.

CBSE 10th Result 2025 Declared: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the results for Class 10 board examinations 2025 today, May 13, 2025. Notably, Trivandrum and Vijayawada have emerged as the top-performing regions, both securing a pass percentage of 99.79%. Following close behind in regional performance are Bengaluru with 98.90%, Chennai with 98.71%, and Pune with 96.54%, rounding off the top five regions in terms of success rate.

CBSE 10th Result 2025: 95.14% Pass In Delhi Region
The overall Delhi region also showed strong results, recording a pass percentage of 95.14%. Out of 3,28,701 students registered from Delhi, 3,27,041 appeared and 3,11,138 successfully passed the examination—placing the national capital among the higher-performing zones.
CBSE Class 10th Result 2025: Girls Outshine Boys
In 2025, a total of 23,85,079 students registered for the Class 10 exam, out of which 23,71,939 appeared and 22,21,636 passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 93.66%. This marks a slight increase of 0.06% from last year’s 93.60%.
Girls outshone boys once again, achieving a pass percentage of 95.00% compared to boys’ 92.63%, a difference of 2.37%. Transgender students also showed remarkable improvement, with their pass percentage rising from 91.30% in 2024 to 95.00% in 2025.
CBSE 10th Result 2025: 98.57% Pass In Foreign Schools
CBSE-affiliated foreign schools also continued their tradition of excellence. In 2025, 29,847 students registered from foreign schools, with 29,745 appearing and 29,320 passing—resulting in a high pass percentage of 98.57%. Though slightly lower than last year’s 98.61%, the performance remains among the highest globally.
CBSE 10th Result 2025: Over 1.4 Lakh Students In Compartment Category
As per the CBSE Class 10 results for the year 2025, a total of 1,41,353 candidates have been placed in the compartment category, which constitutes 5.96% of the total students. This marks a slight increase compared to the previous year (2024), when 1,32,337 candidates were placed in the compartment, accounting for 5.91%.
