TN SSLC Result 2025: The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (TNDGE) will declare the SSLC results on Friday (May 16) at 9 am. Students can check their results at the official websites of the board after entering their login details. The result link will be available at the official websites — dge.tn.nic.in, tnresults.nic.in.
The students who appeared for the exams will be able to check and download their scorecards from the official websites using the roll number and date of birth mentioned on their TN hall tickets.

According to reports, a total of 9,13,084 students from 12,487 schools across Tamil Nadu have registered for the public examinations. This includes 4,46,471 boys and 4,40,499 girls. Additionally, 25,841 private candidates, 273 inmate candidates, and 15,729 students with disabilities are also appearing for the exams, which are being held at 4,113 examination centres across the state.
TN SSLC Result 2025 (May 16): When and where to check Class 10th results
The TNDGE board SSLC exams 2025 were held between March 28 to April 15. The practical component of the TN board class 10 exams was conducted between February 22 to 28.
The Class 10 marksheet mentions the marks scored by students in different subjects. To collect the Tamil Nadu SSLC original mark sheets, students need to visit their respective schools a few days after the result declaration. Information about the supplementary exams will be announced after the TNDGE result declaration.
Last year, the Tamil Nadu board declared the SSLC exams result on May 10, 2024. The TN board class 10 exams last year were held between March 26 to April 8.
The overall pass percentage last year was 91.55 per cent. The pass percentage last year increased slightly to 91.55 per cent from 91.39 per cent in 2023.

A total of 8,94,264 students appeared for the TN board class 10 exam last year. The overall pass percentage was 91.55 per cent, with male pass percentage being 88.58 per cent and female pass percentage being 94.53 per cent.
TNDGE now doesn’t release a list of toppers. This practice is being followed since 2018. Instead, the city or district with the greatest pass percentage is declared. The DGE claims that the action is intended to lessen the harmful competition.
