UP Board Compartment Exam 2025: Students will be able to apply for compartment/improvement exams on – upmsp.edu.in.

UP Board Compartment Exam 2025: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP), Prayagraj, will commence the online application process for the High School Compartment/Improvement and Intermediate Compartment Examinations 2025 on Monday, May 19, 2025.  Students can apply through the official website- upmsp.edu.in, from May 19, 2025, to June 10, 2025 (midnight).

High School Compartment/Improvement Exam 2025: Key Details

Improvement Exam: Candidates who were declared passed in the High School exams may apply to improve performance in one or two subjects.

Compartment Exam: Candidates placed in the compartment category can appear only in the subject in which they were unsuccessful.

Students will be required to pay an examination fee of Rs 256.

Intermediate Compartment Exam 2025: Key Details

Students from Science, Commerce, or Arts streams who have failed in one subject from either Part-1 or Part-2 are eligible. Students will be required to pay an examination fee of Rs 306.

Candidates must deposit the fee via bank challan and submit the receipt along with their application.

UP Board Compartment Exam 2025: Important Instructions 

The UPMSP Secretary has instructed all principals of government, government-aided, and recognized unaided schools to ensure timely submission of eligible students’ online applications through the respective regional board offices by June 10, 2025.

Candidates appearing for the High School Improvement/Compartment or Intermediate Compartment exams will be required to take both the written and practical/project (internal assessment) exams if applicable to their subject.

If a subject includes both theory and practical parts, candidates who failed in either must appear for both sections. However, they may also choose to appear only in the failed section or in both, depending on preference and eligibility.

The board will issue a separate notification regarding the dates of the written and practical exams in due course. Students are advised to regularly check the official UPMSP website for updates.
