IIT Delhi Launches 3 New PG Diploma Courses To Upskill Professionals In Emerging Sectors – News18

These one-year PG Diploma courses have been designed by leading faculty members of IIT Delhi and will be taught by both in-house experts and industry professionals

IIT Delhi has introduced three new Postgraduate Diploma programmes aimed at upskilling professionals and students in key emerging sectors, including Healthcare Product Development and Management, Electric Vehicle Technology, and Advanced Communication Engineering with Quantum and AI Integration.

These one-year PG Diploma courses have been designed by leading faculty members of IIT Delhi and will be taught by both in-house experts and industry professionals. Participants will also receive affiliate alumni status from IIT Delhi upon completion of the programme. Here are the details and eligibility criteria for all three courses introduced by IIT Delhi:

PG Diploma in Healthcare Product Development and Management

Offered by the Centre for Biomedical Engineering, this 12-month programme focuses on equipping learners with the skills needed to innovate and commercialise healthcare technologies. It covers areas such as biomedical innovation, regulatory frameworks, product lifecycle strategies, and market readiness. The course also includes an optional two-day on-campus immersion for networking and peer interaction.

Eligibility: Minimum two years of experience in biomedical engineering, life sciences, biotechnology, healthcare, or a related field.

PG Diploma in Electric Vehicle Technology

This programme, designed by the Centre for Automotive Research and Tribology (CART), aims to support the growth of electric mobility in India. It covers a wide range of technical and strategic aspects of EV technology and industry. Participants will attend three in-person immersion sessions at the IIT Delhi campus.

Eligibility: Engineers, technologists, entrepreneurs, and working professionals looking to enter or grow in the EV sector.

PG Diploma in Advanced Communication Engineering with Quantum and AI Integration

Conducted by the Bharti School of Telecommunication Technology and Management, this course explores cutting-edge topics such as artificial intelligence, quantum networking, and next-generation wireless communication systems.

Eligibility: Professionals with an academic background in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Science (CSE), Information Technology (IT), Data Science, Mathematics, or Applied Physics.
