WBJEE 2025 candidates’ response sheets out, raise objections by May 25

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has released the WBJEE OMR images and machine-read responses of candidates who appeared for the examination. Candidates can now log-in and view their OMRs and responses as are captured by machines. The official website to check and download the WBJEE 2025 OMR images, machine-read images is wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee.

In case of category-I and category-II questions (where only one option is correct), the response is shown as A or B or C or D. Unattended questions are marked as “-“. If multiple answers are given, the response is shown as “*”, a statement from the Board said.

“In case of category-III questions (where one or more options are correct), the response is shown as “A, B, C, D” etc,” it added.

Candidates who are not satisfied with the captured responses can claim for review before May 25 for a a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 500 per response. The candidate can use net banking, credit card or debit card. The claim is to be lodged in one session, the board noted. The student’s question booklet number is also displayed.

How to view the OMR images and machine-read responses:

Step 1: Go to WB JEE website — wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee/

Step 2: Click on “OMR Recorded Response – View & Challenge for WBJEE-2025” under the “CANDIDATE ACTIVITY BOARD”

Step 3: Enter your application number, password and the security pin displayed on screen.

Step 4: View the captured responses

WBJEE Board will calculate the scores based on the final reviewed responses. The Board’s decision in this regard will be final.

WBJEE Exam 2025 was conducted on April 27, 2025, in two shifts. The first shift, from 11 am to 1 pm, was held for Paper 1, which covered Mathematics. The second shift, from 2pm to 4 pm, was for Paper 2, comprising questions from Physics and Chemistry. The exam was conducted in offline mode at designated test centers across West Bengal.

The provisional answer key was released on May 9. Candidates were allowed to challenge the key for a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 500 per question till noon of May 11.
