RBSE Rajasthan Class 8 Result Date 2025: The Rajasthan Board is expected to declare the Class 8 Board Exam Result 2025 on Sunday, May 26. The announcement will be made by the Registrar, Education Departmental Examinations, Bikaner.
Once declared, students can check their results through the following official portals at rajshaladarpan.nic.in rajpsp.nic.in. To access the result, students will need to enter their roll number and date of birth on the result page.
The RBSE Class 8 board exams were conducted between March 20 and April 2, 2025. A total of 12.64 lakh students were registered for the exam this year. The results are now in the final stages of processing and are expected to be declared as per the tentative date.
In the previous year, the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) conducted the Class 8 board exams with over 13 lakh students registered. A total of 13,05,355 students appeared, and 12,33,702 successfully passed, resulting in a high overall pass percentage of 94.50%. The results were declared on May 17, and students were able to access their scorecards using their roll number along with either their district name or date of birth.
Looking specifically at the 2023 RBSE Class 8 result data, 12,50,800 candidates appeared for the exam, out of which 11,97,321 passed. This translated to a slightly higher overall pass percentage of 95.72% compared to the broader figure of 94.50%. The performance by gender showed that girls continued to outperform boys, with a pass percentage of 96.39% for girls and 95.14% for boys.
Among the districts, Sikar, Dausa, Alwar, Ajmer, and Nagaur emerged as the top-performing regions in the RBSE Class 8 examinations. The results issued by the board included students’ subject-wise marks, overall grades, and pass/fail status, determining promotion to the next academic class.
Passing Criteria for Rajasthan Class 8 Board
To pass the RBSE Class 8 board exams, students must score at least 33% marks in each subject and in aggregate. If a student scores below 33% in more than two subjects, they will be considered as failed and may need to repeat the academic year.
