The WBJEE counselling 2023 would let qualified students sign up online. Candidates must fill out the necessary information and list their top-choice universities and courses when enrolling for the WBJEE 2023 counselling session.

WBJEE Counselling 2023 Procedure and selection of College
Applicants can participate in the WBJEE 2023 counselling procedure by following the instructions provided.
Step 1: Register for WBJEE 2023 counselling.
The aspirants must finish the WBJEE counselling registration process as the initial step. Applicants must log in and register for the counselling procedure using their WBJEE 2023 roll number and password. The online counselling form needs to be filled out with the necessary information.
Step 2: Filling and Locking the Choices
Those who have registered must select their preferred college and course. Applicants won’t be taken into consideration for admission or seat allocation if they neglect to complete or miss this step. Candidates must secure their choices for the final WBJEE seat allotment once the option entry process is completed. Seats will be assigned to candidates based on their most recent saved preferences if they fail to lock their selections.
Step 3: Fee Payment
The candidates must then pay a 500 INR registration fee for counselling. The cost must be paid online using net banking, a credit card, or a debit card and is not refundable.
Step 4: Verify the WBJEE seat allocation outcome
Rank, preference list, and seat availability will all be taken into consideration when allocating seats to candidates. The three rounds of the WBJEE 2023 seat allocation process will end with the online announcement of the results. Candidates who receive seats in the first round of seat distribution must show up at the reporting locations. The provisional admission fee (described below) must be paid at the reporting centre by verified candidates.

Any category seat in state-aided University/University departments, Government Engineering & Technology Institutes/ Pharmacy Colleges – 5,000 Rupees
Any category seat in Self-financing Universities/University departments and Engineering & Technology/Pharmacy/Architecture institutes – 5,000 Rupees
Step 5: Report to the Appointed Institutions
Applicants who receive seats must verify their documentation at the institutions to which they have been assigned. Candidates who received seats in the first round now have the option of upgrading or paying the acceptance fee. At the reporting centres, candidates will receive a provisional allotment letter that includes information on their allocation, their fees, and their willingness to accept an upgrade.
Documents needed for WBJEE 2023 counselling
Applicants must present the following documents for verification at their designated institutes.
- WBJEE 2023 score or rank card
- Provisional allotment letter for WBJEE 2023
- WBJEE 2023 confirmation page
- 10th standard (or similar) examination admit card or certificate for name and age verification
- Verification of the marks for the English subject on the 10th grade (or similar) mark sheet
- Caste certificate (for applicants who are SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B)
- Certificate for applicants in the PwD category who are physically challenged
- Income certification (if applicable)
- Certificate of domicile (if applicable)
- JEE Main 2023 results (if applicable)
- Option form with ‘Yes Upgradation’ or ‘No Upgradation’ options
Round 2 of WBJEE 2023 Counselling
The second round of seat allocation will take candidates who choose for an upgrade into consideration. Candidates who received their first choice during the Round 1 seat allocation, however, will not be qualified for an upgrade. In the second round, candidates who choose to upgrade and are prepared to accept admission according to the allotment must report to the RC. During the second round of WBJEE seat allocation, they are permitted to modify their upgrade status from “Yes” to “No,” but not from “No” to “Yes.”
Mop-Up Round for WBJEE 2023 Counselling
The candidates must pay INR 200 to participate in the WBJEE mop-up round. This round will be optional for all enrolled applicants. During the mop-up round, candidates may also change their already-filled choices. Candidates from the following categories are eligible for the WBJEE 2023 mop-up round:
- Individuals who successfully completed Round 1 of admission
- Whoever successfully finished Round 2 admissions
- Individuals that did not complete Round 2 admissions
- Individuals whose category has been altered as a result of Round 2 document verification
- Those who paid the seat acceptance fee but did not show up for document verification
- Individuals who received no allocation in Round 1 or Round 2
