Earlier, the TAT-S examination had a minimum qualification score criteria of 50%, which was raised to 60% under the new two-part examination structure.
The test was conducted on June 25 at various locations. Candidates who had cleared TAT-S Prelims had taken the exam.
TAT-S Prelims results showed that 41% or 60,567 candidates qualified by scoring 70 marks and above out of 200.
TAT-S is conducted for candidates who want to become secondary school teachers. TAT-S Prelims were conducted on June 4.
Of the total 60,573 eligible candidates, 59,553 took the TAT-S Mains.
Results showed that 39.57% or 23,497 candidates scored between 120-129 marks, 25.24% or 15,005 candidates scored between 130-139 marks, and 5,639 candidates, or 9.48% of the total, scored 140 marks out of 200.
The state government recently changed rules for teacher job qualifications in Class 9-12 grade schools, requiring candidates to clear two tests, TAT-Prelims and TAT-Mains, for qualification.
Candidates wishing to recheck their answer sheets can apply between August 8 and 22.
