NEW DELHI: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) in Odisha has released the academic calendar for the 2023-24 session for Plus 2 exams for the year 2024.
According to the schedule, the exams will kick off on February 14, 2024, and to continue until March 13, 2024. The examinations will be organised in two shifts: the first from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon, and the second from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
The practical exams are set to take place in the first week of January 2024. In order to achieve a pass mark in the Odisha Plus 2 exams students should secure 30% in each subject and must have an overall aggregate of 33%.
The Odisha Plus 2 exam 2024 results are expected to be disclosed in either April or May 2024. The process of form fill-up for the examination is likely to take place between November 10 and November 25, 2023.
According to the experts, the decision to hold the Plus 2 examinations in February is influenced by the upcoming 2024 general election. As per them, this scheduling offers various benefits, as students can concentrate on exam preparations following the December test examinations. Holding exams in February would lead to earlier result declarations, enabling summer vacation admissions and timely commencement of academic activities upon reopening.
