PrepInsta will offer free subscriptions to its courses through the AICTE’s NEAT portal to benefit underprivileged students.

NEW DELHI: Career and placement platform PrepInsta has collaborated with AICTE’s National Educational Alliance for Technology (NEAT 4.0) initiative to empower students in India with industry-relevant skills, preparing them for the competitive global job market, according to a media release on Tuesday.

Courses from PrepInsta are now accessible through the NEAT 4.0 portal, transforming technical education in the country, it said.

Launched in 2019, the NEAT initiative by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, focuses on providing tech education solutions to increase employability, particularly for students from economically and socially disadvantaged backgrounds. As part of this mission, PrepInsta will offer free subscriptions to its courses through the AICTE’s NEAT portal to benefit underprivileged students, it said.

PrepInsta focuses on upskilling students in high-demand fields such as Generative AI, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, and Data Science. These programs help students secure placements in top-tier global companies, including the Big Four and FAANG. In addition, it supports college management with a SaaS tool to track the complete placement process of every student, monitor their performance, and conduct customised assessments, it said.

Co-founder of PrepInsta, Manish Agarwal, stated, “This partnership with AICTE’s NEAT initiative is a step towards transforming the future of technical education in India. We aim to equip students with career-focused skills that make them employable in today’s rapidly evolving job market.”

PrepInsta has already partnered with over 100 colleges, including GITAM University, SNS Group of Institutions, VIT University, SRM University, Karunya Institute of Engineering and Technology, NorthCap University, and Mangalayatan University. The platform aims to expand its network to over 250 colleges in the next fiscal year.

“We have increased the placement rate by 25 per cent and raised the average placement CTC by 40 per cent for our partnered colleges, and we have brought over 100 hiring opportunities to these institutions,” added Agarwal.
