The Andhra Pradesh Department of School Education has suspended the teacher recruitment 2022 process following a court order.
The recruitment was on for filling up 207 posts of TGT and PGT teachers in the government schools of Andhra Pradesh.
The revised dates for the commencement of the recruitment process will soon be updated.

Eligibility Criteria

Post Graduate Teacher | Minimum Qualification:
Must have a two-year integrated Post Graduate Course from the Regional Institute of Education of NCERT or a Master’s Degree from a UGC recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the prescribed subjects. Professional Qualifications: Must have a BEd degree recognized by NCTE OR an equivalent qualification with Methodology in the concerned subject from a UGC recognized institution. |
Trained Graduate Teacher | Minimum Qualification: The candidate must have a 4-year Integrated degree course from the Regional Institute of Education of NCERT with at least 50% marks in aggregate OR Second Class Bachelor’s Degree from the UGC recognized University with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject(s) in aggregate including electives and Languages in the combination of subjects specified PLUS a BEd degree recognized by NCTE OR an equivalent qualification with methodology in the concerned subject from a UGC recognized institution. TET Qualification: TGT applicants also need to have qualified in AP TET or equivalent exam. |
Age Limit
- Candidates must be between 18-44 years
- 5-year relaxation in the upper age limit will be given to reserved category applicants such as SC/ST/OBC
- In the case of physically handicapped candidates, the maximum age limit will extend to 54 years, which is 10 years of relaxation.
Application Fee
- The Application Fee is Rs 500 for everyone. Be mindful that additional charges will be levied for each post separately.
Selection Process
Candidates will be judged on two accounts: Computer Based Test and Certificate Verification.
- A Merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the written exam.
- Shortlisted candidates will then be called for document verification.
- Consider yourself selected if you clear these two tests.
- In case, you can’t produce the required documents OR any of those are found to be fake; consider yourself rejected.
