Assam DElEd Counselling 2023 Registration Begins at scertpet.co.in – News18

The State Council Of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Assam has begun the state-level DElEd pre-entry test (PET) 2023 counselling process. Candidates who have successfully cleared the exam can apply for the counselling process on the official website at scertpet.co.in. The last date to register for counselling is September 30. The Assam DElEd PET was held on September 10 and the results were announced on September 25.

As per the official schedule by SCERT, the district-wise overall and category-wise ranks will be announced on October 3. The seat allotment results for the first round of admission will be declared on October 5. The document verification will begin on October 6 and 7. The vacancy list after round 1 and the seat allotment list for round 2 will be declared on October 11. The round 3 seat allotment list will be out on Oct 27 and the fourth and final one on November 3.

“Before applying for Counselling, keep the following points in mind: Applicants are required to verify their Profile. Applicants are advised to select institute according to their preference,” read the official notice.

Step 1 – Go to the official website of Assam DElEd, which is, scertpet.co.in

Step 2 – On the home page, click on the Assam DElEd counselling 2023 link

Step 3 – Enter your login credentials

Step 4 – Fill in the form

Step 5 – Save and download the acknowledgement form for future reference.

The pre-entry test is conducted every year in Assam for admission to the two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) course offered by NCTE-recognised teacher education institutes including DIET, CTE, Normal School, BTC, and Private TEIs.
