Assam UG Admission 2023: Final Round Registration Begins Today at assamadmission.samarth.ac.in – News18

The Assam Higher Education Admission portal will open for the last round of Assam Undergraduate (UG) admissions today, September 27 in an online format. Those candidates interested in applying for the final round to secure a spot in various UG programmes for the 2023 academic year can complete the registration on the official website at assamadmission.samarth.ac.in.

According to the provided schedule, students who have informed institutions about their admission elsewhere through CUET or other selection methods have until September 27 to 29, to cancel their admission. Candidates can submit their applications between September 27 and 28.

Cabinet Minister for Higher Education, School Education, Ranoj Pegu, shared a post on X (Formerly known as Twitter). The post reads, “This is to notify that the Assam Higher Education Admission portal will be opened for the final round of admissions. The time-line for application and admission in the Assam Higher Education Portal is here”.

The Higher Education Department is making sure that all qualified applicants have the chance to enroll in Assam’s various higher education institutions. The Assam Higher Education Admission Portal’s updated application and admissions deadlines are as follows:

Final date for the cancellation of the admission of students who have communicated to the institutions about their admission to other institutions through CUET or other means of selection – September 27 to 29

Date for submitting an application through the admission portal – September 27 and 28

Spot admissions (offline) subject to the vacancy of seats – September 27 to 29

Updation of fee waiver details in the portal ­- September 27 to 30

Final modification/correction/updation of discrepancies in admissions, if any, to be done in the portal – September 29 to 30

The authorities previously stated that to apply for undergraduate programs at colleges affiliated with Gauhati University, Dibrugarh University, or Bodoland University, candidates must use the Assam Higher Education Admission Portal. Earlier the Directorate of Higher Education, Assam opened the admission portal for the final round of four-year undergraduate programmes on September 11.
