The Bank of Maharashtra (BOM) has started accepting online job applications for Credit Officer positions at two different levels, Scale II and Scale III. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can submit the application on their official website, bankofmaharashtra.in, until November 6. This recruitment drive is looking to hire a total of 100 people. Half of these, which are 50 vacancies, are for the position of Credit Officer Scale II, and the other 50 are for Credit Officer Scale III.

Bank of Maharashtra Credit Officer Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Age limit: To be eligible for Credit Officer Scale II, candidates should be between 25 and 32 years old by September 30, 2023. There are relaxations for the upper age limit as per government rules, especially for candidates in reserved categories. Similarly, for Credit Officer Scale III, one should be between 25 and 35 years old by September 30, 2023, with similar age limit relaxations applicable to eligible candidates in reserved categories.

Educational Qualification: Candidates need to have a bachelor’s degree from a university or institute, and the overall marks should be at least 60 per cent (or 55 per cent if you are from SC, ST, OBC, or PwBD categories). The degree should be from an institution recognized by the Indian government or its regulatory bodies.

Step 1. Navigate to the official website of the Bank of Maharashtra at bankofmaharashtra.in.

Step 2. Find and select the ‘Careers’ tab, on the homepage.

Step 3. Now, go to the ‘Recruitment Process’ section and tap on ‘Current Openings.’

Step 4. To apply for the position of Credit Officer in Scale II and III, tap the application link.

Step 5. Then, register yourself on the IBPS portal, fill out the application form, and pay the necessary fees.

Step 6. Once the form has been properly completed, download a copy and print it out.

Bank of Maharashtra Credit Officer Recruitment 2023: Application Fees

Candidates who belong to the Unreserved, EWS, or OBC categories need to pay an application fee of Rs 1180. However, for those who are in the SC, ST, or PwBD categories, the fee is Rs 118.

Applicants will need to take an online exam administered by a recruitment agency. If they pass the exam, they will be invited for an interview, with a ratio of 1 candidate selected for every 4 candidates based on their rankings. To be considered, candidates need to score at least 50 per cent in the online exam, interview, and final selection if they are in the UR or EWS category, and 45 per cent if they belong to the SC, ST, OBC, or PWBD categories.
