Bihar Board 10th Result 2025: BSEB Matric scorecards expected date and time

Candidates will be required to key in their Bihar Board BSEB Matric Class 10 registration number or roll number and password to check the Bihar matric scorecard. The BSEB board for Matric Class 10 was conducted between February 15 to 25 for over 15 lakh students. The scorecard downloaded from the website is provisional. The official scorecard, signed by the Board, will be issued later and will be required for admission purposes.

The BSEB Matric Class 10 exam was conducted in the morning and evening shifts (9:30 am to 12:45 pm as the first shift and 2 pm to 5:15 pm as the second shift.) For the smooth commencement of the exam, the board even implemented section 144 near exam centres within a radius of 200 m. For fair conduct of the exam, board took the strict measures.

In the BSEB Class 10 matric result, the rank 1 student will be awarded Rs 1 lakh along with a laptop. Similarly, the second-ranking student will get Rs 75,000 and a laptop, while the third rank holders will get Rs 50,000 along with a laptop.

Meanwhile, the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), Patna has announced that the results for the BSEB Class 12 (Intermediate) exams will be released on March 27 at 10 am.

BSEB Matric Class 10 Results 2025: Last years performance

Last year, the BSEB result was declared on March 31, 2024. The BSEB exams last year were held between February 15 to 23. The overall pass percentage last year was 82.91 per cent respectively. 

In 2024, the first division was bagged by 4,52,302 students of which boys are 2,52,846 and girls are 1,99,456. Similarly, the second division was bagged by 5,24,965 of which 2,52,121 were boys and 2,72,844 were girls. A total of 3,80,732 students had got third division of which 1,66,093 were boys and 2,14,639 girls. About 21,843 were in the pass category. Meanwhile, Shivankar Kumar had topped the Bihar Board exam.

In the Patna district, Rahul Kumar achieved the top rank with a score of 485, followed by Rimjhim Kumari with 479 marks, and Farhan Akhtar with a score of 477.

In 2023, the overall pass percentage in the BSEB Class 10 exam was 81.04 per cent, 79.88 per cent in 2022, 78.17 percent in 2021 and 80.59 percent in 2020. Meanwhile, the Bihar board Class 12 result will be announced in the last week of march. The BSEB class 12 examination was conducted from February 1 to  and 15 .
