Bihar Board Class 10th Matric Result 2025: A total of 82.11% passed the exam this year which is slightly lower than last year when 82.91% qualified

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) class 10 or matriculation board exam result 2025 has been announced today, March 29 at noon via a press conference. It is now available on the official websites of BSEB — matricresult2025.com or matricbiharboard.com. Candidates will need their roll codes and roll numbers as mentioned on the Bihar matric admit cards 2025 to access the results online.

A total of 82.11% passed the exam this year which is slightly lower than last year when 82.91% qualified. As many as 123 students have been placed in the top 10 which include 60 girls and 63 boys. Two female and one male student have topped the exam — Sakshi Kumari, Anshu Kumari, and Ranjan Verma — by securing 97.8%. The prize money has been doubled this time for toppers.

Overall, a total of 15,58,077 students appeared for the exam, out of which 12,79,294 passed while 2,78,783 failed, leading to an overall pass percentage of 82.11%.

Among male students, 7,52,685 appeared for the exam, out of which 6,29,620 passed and 1,23,065 failed, resulting in a pass percentage of 83.65%.

On the other hand, 8,05,392 female students took the exam, with 6,49,674 clearing it and 1,55,718 failing, bringing their pass percentage to 80.67%.

Students need to score a minimum of 33 per cent marks in each subject and 150 marks in aggregate to pass the BSEB 10th exam. The Bihar Board 10th exams were conducted between February 17 and 25, 2025, which were taken by over 16 lakh students.

Step 3: Log in using the required credentials.

Step 4: The BSEB Class 10 result 2025 will appear on the screen.

Students can check their results via SMS if the BSEB websites are not working. Follow the below steps to get your result via SMS:

Step 1: First of all go to the message box of your mobile and type BIHAR 10 Roll Number.

Step 2: Send it to 56263.

Step 3: You will get the result as an SMS on your screen.

Bihar Board Matric Result 2025: Re-evaluation

The BSEB will announce the scrutiny registration process soon. It will likely begin in the coming week. Students not happy with their marks or have scored poor marks can apply for scrutiny/re-evaluation by paying the required fees.

According to the rules of the Bihar Board, if a student fails in one or two subjects then s/he can take the compartment examination. However, those who fail in more than two subjects will have to repeat the year.
