Bihar Board 10th Result 2025: Students will not get a chance to appear in the BSEB matric compartment exam if they fail in more than two subjects

The Bihar Board 10th exams 2025 were conducted between February 17 and 25, 2025. Over 16 lakh students took the exam this time. The Bihar Board Matric Result 2025 will be declared today, March 29 at noon on matricresult2025.com or matricbiharboard.com. Candidates will need their roll codes and roll numbers as mentioned on the admit cards to access the matric results online.

To pass the Bihar board exam, students are required to score a minimum of 33 per cent marks. Those getting marks less than this in more than two subjects will be considered failed. They may appear for the compartment exams, the dates of which will be announced by BSEB soon.

According to the rules of the Bihar Board, if a student fails in one or two subjects then s/he can take the compartment examination. The schedule of the compartment examination will be released by the board soon after the results are released. For this examination, students will have to pay a fixed fee per subject.

However, it is important to note that students will not get a chance to appear in the BSEB matric compartment exam if they fail in more than two subjects. In that case, students will have to repeat the same class, that is, study in class 10 once more.

Students unhappy with the marks obtained in the Bihar Board Matriculation examination can get their marks scrutinised. However, only the marks obtained after scrutiny will be considered final. Like the compartment exam, a separate registration fee has to be deposited for the scrutiny process.

What Are The Short Forms In Bihar Board 10th Mark Sheet?

Short forms written in Bihar Board 10th Marksheet 2025 indicate your result status:

1- If F is written on your matriculation mark sheet then it means that you have failed. Now if you want, you can improve Bihar Board’s 10th result through revaluation.

2- The full form of C is compartmental. This means that you can take the Bihar Board 10th compartmental exam.

3- B means Betterment.

4- If U/R is written in Bihar Board 10th mark sheet, it means Under Regulation.

5- ABS means that you were absent on the day of the examination of a particular subject.

The Bihar board matric scorecard will contain the name, school name, roll code, roll number, registration number, subject-wise marks, aggregate marks, subject-wise practical obtained marks, result status, and division of the students.
